About Us

Thanks, Everyone -- once again you #helpushelpEPL

Friends President Connie Regali presents a BIG check for $100,000 to LaVena Nohrenberg, Customer Experience Manager, to help support programs at the Eugene Public Library! These funds were raised by the dedicated work of FEPL volunteers, plus the generosity of community members who donate money, books, and other items and shop at the Friends' many sales outlets: book sales, our bookstore, our Amazon storefront (EugeneLibraryFriends), our eBay store (eugenelibraryfriends). Thanks to everyone who helps the Friends help our Library!

2016/17 Annual Meeting

President Connie Regali welcomed members and guests to the 2016/17 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 13 in the Singer Room of the Downtown EPL.  After refreshments were served, she presented the 2016/17 Annual Report, thanked the 2016/17 Board and led the election of the 2017/18 Officers and Directors.  After a discussion of our accomplishments during the 2016/17 year, President Regali led a discussion and vote regarding our annual gift to the Eugene Public Library.  As a result of the very hard work of many, many dedicated volunteers throughout the past year, we are pleased to give $100,000 to EPL.  For detailed information in the 2016/17 Annual Report, click here.

2018 Honored Friends

In 2018, we honored all the Second Hand Prose bookstore volunteers. They are all Honored Friends! We are so grateful for everything they do at the store.

2017 Honored Friend

Jan Guthrie was a retired EPL staffer - among other positions, she was the longtime Bookmobile driver. An always enthusiastic, cheerful FEPL volunteer, she was involved with most of our activities, from processing incoming material donations to three very long days at the Annual Booksale; she could also be found at our pop-up mini-sales throughout the year. Her volunteer hours must number in the thousands. Jan was always a mainstay of our important activities. A very worthy Honored Friend. Jan passed away in 2018.
