Volunteer Schedule
April 13-15 at the Fairgrounds

Join the volunteer team for Eugene’s largest community Library fundraiser!

There are 2 ways to sign up to volunteer this year:
1. Go to by clicking on this link:
- Sign up for the shift(s) and job(s) that you would like
- Indicate any preferences or limitations you have
-If you are a student, please indicate the school & group you are with

- Provide your full name, phone #, day & time preference (see list below)
- Choose as many shifts as you’d like

Friday April 13: Set up day

Truck Unloading: Friday 8:00 to 1:00
‘Heavy lifter’ volunteers unload trucks from the warehouse and move boxes to tables

Set up volunteers: Friday 10:00 to 12:30 or 12:30 to 3:00
Open and unpack boxes, arrange books on top of tables and in boxes below tables for easy customer viewing

Saturday April 14 & Sunday April 15: Book Sale days

Saturday shifts: 8:30 to 11:30, 11:00 to 2:00, 1:30 to 4:30, 4:00 to 6:30
Sunday shifts: 9:30 to 12:00, 11:30 to 2:00, 1:30 to 4:30

Floor volunteers: Re-stock tables, keep books organized, answer questions, help customers with heavy purchases to parking lot, keep customer payment lines organized

Entrance & exit monitors & Greeters: Greet and welcome customers, monitor exit doors, check for receipts, thank customers for coming to the Sale (easy sitting assignment)

Additional Needs:

Sign volunteers: Friday 8:00 to 10:00
Two volunteers needed to put up table, wall and floor signs

Admission line management: Saturday 7:30 to 10:30
Two assertive volunteers needed to help manage the ‘early bird’ customer admission line

Clean up Crew: Sunday 3:30 to 6:00
Fit, energetic volunteers clear unsold books, pack up signs, posters, and supplies
