What we do not take

Due to space limitations and lack of demand, we are not able to accept:

  • Encyclopedias and dictionaries
  • Sets of books (i.e. Time-Life series)
  • Magazines more than six months old
  • VHS tapes and audio cassettes
  • Textbooks, computer, business
  • Travel books published more than 5 years ago
  • Spiral-bound cookbooks
  • Reader’s Digest condensed books
  • Books that are damaged or that have musty or smoky odors

Arrange for a pick-up

If you have a large volume of books to donate, or difficulty bringing your books to one of our drop off locations, call (541) 484-1452 or email us to schedule a pickup. Please box up books or place them in bags and have them ready in an easily-accessible area.
