We Accept Books and Recent Media in Good Condition
Book donation bins located at:
- Downtown Library
- Sheldon Branch Library (UPS Store)
- Bethel area (Petersen Barn Community Center)
- Amazon Community Center
What we do not take:
Due to space limitations and lack of demand, we are not able to accept:
- Encyclopedias and dictionaries
- Sets of books (i.e. Time-Life series)
- Magazines more than six months old
- VHS tapes and audio cassettes
- Textbooks, computer, business, and travel books published more than 5 years ago
- Spiral-bound cookbooks
- Reader’s Digest condensed books
- Books that are damaged or that have musty or smoky odors
Arrange for a pick-up:
If you have a large volume of books to donate, or difficulty bringing your books to one of our drop off locations, call (541) 484-1452 or email us to schedule a pickup. Please box up books or place them in bags and have them ready in an easily-accessible area.
