Our book sales occur throughout the year, with the largest taking place at the Lane County Fairgrounds in April. With thousands of books, most at $2, you won’t want to miss it.

The Friends Support Literacy

We work hard to provide ongoing annual support to Eugene Public Library

Our book sale activities and membership dues directly support our goal of providing annual contributions to the Eugene Public Library. In addition to this direct support, we advocate for library, literacy, and community services for Eugene-area residents.

Our dedicated volunteers sort, research, price, move, pack, and sell tens of thousands of donated books annually — keeping them in circulation and out of landfills

Recycling and selling donated books and media requires hundreds of hours of volunteer work year-round. Our work could not be done without such generous and dedicated individuals. We are always welcoming new volunteers!
