    Friends of Eugene Public  Library

The Friends are an all-volunteer group that supports the Eugene Public Library (EPL). Since 1976, we have raised more than 1 million dollars to support Library projects, including programs for children and adults, support of the downtown library and branches, and media collections.

We raise money for Library programs and projects through our annual April Book Sale and special sales, the Second Hand Prose Bookstore, online sales (Amazon and eBay), financial donations, and membership dues.

We always need help - click here to sign up! You can donate here. All donations are tax-deductible.

Back to School Sale

The sale was a great success! Thanks to all the kids, parents, and teachers who came, browsed, and bought books. We made over $1400 to contribute to Library projects. And thanks to all the volunteers who set up, helped customers, and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks to everyone!

You can always buy books at our own bookstore in the Downtown Library: Second Hand Prose has books and magazines for sale all year long!
