Friends of Eugene Public  Library

The Friends are an all-volunteer group that supports the Eugene Public Library (EPL). Since 1976, we have raised nearly 2 million dollars to support Library projects, including programs for children and adults, support of the downtown library and branches, and media collections.

We raise money for Library programs and projects through our annual April Book Sale and special sales, the Second Hand Prose Bookstore, online sales (Amazon and eBay), financial donations, and membership dues.

We always need help - click here to sign up! You can donate here. All donations are tax-deductible.

We need books!

Can't fit one more book on your shelf? We can help with that. The Friends of the Eugene Public Library are looking for books on all subjects in good condition. The more current the better. Donation boxes are in the downtown library and in the Rite Aids near the Sheldon and Bethel branches. If you have boxes of books to donate, we will come and get them. Call the Friends at 541-484-1452. Thank you.
