This year’s theme is Kindness. The library will be urging all the parade watchers to circulate kindness because kindness is never overdue. We will have all manner of silliness to make the crowd smile.

We’re excited to announce that shirts are now available. Whether you’re a lifelong reader, a library lover, or simply want to show your support, these shirts are a fun way to wear your library pride wherever you go.

Every year, our dedicated volunteers sort, research, price, move, pack, and sell tens of thousands of donated books. These books find new readers through our Second Hand Prose bookstore, local book sales, and our online stores.
