Our Mission Statement: Friends of Eugene Public Library is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to strengthening the Library by encouraging people to be involved and providing financial support for programs and projects. The Friends raise money for Library programs and projects through Second Hand Prose Book Store (located at the Downtown Library, open Monday -Wednesday, First Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday), memberships, our Annual Book Sale, other special book sales and generous donations from throughout our community. Glass Case Books is back!!
We are kicking off the 2012Glass Case Books project with a group of selected books which have been signed by the author. In addition, many of these authors are Oregon or Pacific Northwest authors. Books are great but signed books are even better. An autograph from your favorite author can turn a personally valued possession into a financially valuable treasure. Once again, books are available at Second Hand Prose, our bookstore in the Atrium of the Downtown Library. No Online sales.

The Friends had a great article in the Register-Guard showcasing some of the programming that we have helped to make possible this past year! Please continue to support us in 2012 so that children's reading, summer reading, etc. stay at the Library! Happy New Year!
