Proceeds from this all-volunteer project help support Eugene Public Library activities and events, including Summer Reading books and programs for children and teens.
The Annual Book Sale is the Friends of Eugene Public Library’s major fundraiser each year. Over 400 volunteers work on the Book Sale, many year-round. If you would like to volunteer at the book sale, please contact us.
Current members of Friends of Eugene Public Library will have the exclusive opportunity to gain member-only early access on Saturday, April 13th at 8:00am. Join the Friends now to ensure you are on the list. No advanced ticket required this year, just show up at the members-only entry line.

FAQ
This early-access event will take place between 8:00am-9:00am on Saturday April 13th only, prior to general admission of the public at 9:00am.
ONLY current dues-paying members of the Friends of the Eugene Public Library will be approved for early entry. A membership allows two (2) people entry into the sale (unless you have a family membership).
To participate, you must pay current membership dues for 2024.
New for 2024: we will NOT require an e-ticket in advance. We will confirm membership via list at the door. You must have a member present, who is named on the membership roster, to receive early entry access. A single guest may accompany a dues-paying member who is confirmed on the membership list (unless you have a family membership). If you are not on the list, you will either have to renew your 2024 membership or change to the general admission queue.
General admission for those who arrive without a membership will queue for the regular 9:00 am entry time at the front door, the standard entry time for the sale.
